The Autumn that I was carrying Baby N,
we first noticed that Fall is Spider Season.

Here are some of this year's beauties
& their intricate creations.
(click on the photos to see them larger)

They grow both bigger
& more plentiful as the season progresses.

They disappear on the cusp of Winter,

leaving behind tattered webs,
littered with bits of leaves & dead things,

strands of fiber flailing in the wind.

Yikes, I just moved into my new townhouse and there are spiders galore! One got into my bed at night and bit me all over. Like your blog- check out mine at www.riceonthehill.com (linked in my name) for more info on my spider story :)
